Malghese Gorgonzola DOP
Once called "green stracchino", this POD soft cheese, produced with cow's milk, has ancient origins. Originally the maturing process took place in natural caves, which used to hive the cheese its characteristic blue veins whereas nowadays selected molds are added during the production. The flavor is intense and very hot.
Aromatic and sweet white wines like Moscato Giallo or Passito di Pantelleria, fresh fruitlike pears or grapes.
